Prof. dr. ir. Monique Tabak
Prof. Dr. Ir. Monique Tabak is a biomedical engineer (cum laude) and Professor of eHealth at the University of Twente. She is chair of the Biomedical Signals and Systems research group and teaches in the Biomedical Technology, Technical Medicine, and Health Sciences programs. She has extensive experience in (coordinating) national and international research and innovation projects. She was project leader of the Horizon 2020 RE-SAMPLE project, in which telemonitoring and AI are used for personalized COPD management, and she currently coordinates ZorgDataPunt, a data infrastructure being developed in the Twente region for the secondary use of healthcare data for research, innovation, and education. In addition, she serves as Dean of Research at Ziekenhuisgroep Twente, fulfilling a bridging role between science, innovation, and daily clinical practice.
